Based in Dallas, Tx, Design & Development Consultants (DDC) is a full service design firm with a dedicated team of professionals that are committed to providing quality design and engineering services. Since the founding oF DDC, owner and lead designer, Marion Johnson's vision for the company was to surround himself with a team of people who can match his passion for the architectural design profession. Our team, we have developed a culture that encourages experimentation with design curiosity and taking on new challenges.

With over 20 years of experience, our team provides expertise to custom residential and commercial design. From custom homes, churches, medical facilities to condominiums and townhomes, we have earned a reputation in taking on unusual projects. We possess an unwavering commitment to design environments that shapes the way people live, work, and play. This commitment starts in the office, and extends outwardly to our clients.

Our staff of multi-faceted designers work with a lack of ego from the top down. Each person has many talents that propels the company forward. Whether through BIM implementation, being creative in details, graphic design, interior design, and tech support, everyone contributes through more than one avenue.

Our office is a place for everyone. We like to stray away from the typical corporate environment that often time intimidates clients from all walks of life. We have a relaxed environment. We want our team and our clients to be comfortable to speak freely in open discussions, which opens the door to express critical thought and keeps clients actively involved in the design process.

DDC welcomes challenges.  We often deal with clients who were turned down because their problems were seemingly unsolvable, or undesirable to another company. We take on those challenges and deliver solutions. No problem to too big or too small for us.

DDC is family oriented. Our teammates have a close knit relationship with one another. From birthdays and other holidays alike, we make sure we spend time with each other because everyone is important to one another personally and professionally.
